FAQs
Q: What is the average length of a bridal appointment?
A: The average appointment time is about 1.5 hours, but we don't like to limit you. We want you to take as much time as you need - take pictures, FaceTime your family and friends, talk it over - we don't want you to feel rushed. We've had brides fall in love with a dress in as little as 30 minutes but if it takes 2 hours that's just fine!
Q: Are you a consignment store?
A: No we are not! We DO NOT accept any consignment, secondhand, used, or previously bought dresses. This applies for wedding dresses and all other dresses sold in our store. All of our wedding dresses and other modest dresses are brand new, bought from designers.
Q: How many guests may I invite to a bridal appointment?
A: We have seating for 4-5 guests max- we are a rather small boutique. If you want to bring more guests than the allotted amount, please call us for approval. If you bring small children you will be responsible to keep them from wandering and touching dresses or accessories - bring entertainment for the little ones! Please no food or drink allowed.
Q: What are the prices of your wedding dresses?
A: Our dresses start at $850 and go up to $2500. The average price of a wedding dress in our store is currently $1200. We have some clearance wedding dresses that are $350 and up.
Q: Do you provide alterations at your store?
A: Our main seamstress that we use will come to our store and do your fittings for alterations that are needed on your dress. We know multiple seamstresses that we can refer you to who we trust and know very well. Once you purchase your bridal gown from us, you deal directly with the alterations person (make a separate appointment, pay the alterations person separately). Payments are due upon completion.
Q: Are all sales final at your store?
A: All sales are final when you purchase a dress in the store. However, if you purchase a FULL PRICE dress through our online store, you may return the dress within 5 days. Shipping is not included in the refund!
Q: Do you sell temple dresses?
A: Yes! we have an assortment of cute temple dress styles at reasonable prices.
Q: Do you rent wedding or prom dresses?
A: We do not rent any dresses. Only sell new dresses you will own and keep. If you visit our store, we may be able to find a dress within your budget.
Q: Do I need an appointment for Prom or Bridesmaids?
A: Not on weekdays - come in anytime! On Saturdays, appointments are preferred. If you have a large group trying on bridesmaids dresses, let us know when you are coming in.
Q: What should I wear to my appointment?
A: First of all, little makeup is appreciated to not get any makeup on the dresses. Please don't wear a sports bra. Please just wear a regular bra. If you have long hair you may want to bring something to tie your hair up. Shapewear can also be handy to bring!
Q: Do you provide any steaming service for my wedding dress?
A: Yes! We provide one complimentary pressing where we get your gown as smooth as possible, go over looking for loose threads, etc. We can also do some very minor spot cleaning if the dress came that way. Please bring your dress in at least 10 days before your wear date (usually bridal photos) since we have many dresses to steam and may not be able to steam your dress with only a couple days notice.
If you need your dress steamed a second time after bridal photoshoot we charge $30 to $45 depending on style and number of layers. We cannot clean your dress after bridals. If your dress got dirty you may want to consider taking it to a dry cleaner - if we steam it when dirty it may permanently steam the dirt into the gown.
Q: Do you clean wedding dresses?
A: If you see any spots on your dress the day of purchase, we will clean them! We are not responsible for your dress after it leaves our store.
Q: Do you sell dressy pant suits or bridal shoes?
A: No we do not!
